On April 9, 2024, seven states filed suit in opposition to the Biden administration in an endeavor to block its new “SAVE” strategy, an cash flow-driven reimbursement system that sales opportunities to eventual financial loan forgiveness. Plaintiff states declare that the strategy is unlawful for the reason that it evades limitations Congress imposed for income-centered reimbursement ideas and sets arbitrarily significant thresholds that would properly produce a grant system for pupil debtors.
