26-Calendar year-Aged Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Frankford Avenue
LUBBOCK, TX (March 28, 2024) – Tuesday early morning, a pedestrian accident on 4th Road claimed the life of Immanuel Lopez.
Authorities responded to the scene about 7:30 a.m., at the 5800 block of 4th Avenue around Frankford Avenue on March 5th.
Officers say 36-yr-aged Dezerae Ortiz was driving in the spot and struck Lopez as he was trying to cross 4th Avenue. Paramedics arrived and transported Lopez to College Health care Middle where by he later succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, March 6th.
Emergency crews shut down the surrounding roadway for a brief time in the course of clearing operations. The Lubbock law enforcement are asking for the family members of Lopez to come ahead.
